Tactical SDS Gateway is part of mission critical infrastructure, where for example virtualized server environment is used to keep service level high and functionality takeover to spare server must happen in seconds.

Trevoc offers product for tactical SDS usage in environments where Tetra infrastructure access is limited for tactical or technical reason. Tactical SDS Gateway hosts two Tetra module or radio and transfers all SDS traffic from those terminals to XMLRPC API used in networked applications.

This allows users to attach Tetra terminals to various networked applications, which could have been used with other communication devices like GSM or other, possibly proprietary protocols. Interfacing to Tetra SDS communication with TCP/IP networked XMLRPC API, allows users also to use Tetra terminals together with virtualized server infrastructure and hot spare servers are capable to take over SDS traffic without direct accessing to serial port devices in server hosts. Tactical SDS gateway is also superior to support networked SDS capability with multi server access, rather than in server installed serial device drivers which are required by other networked serial port devices.
